the poject integrates recordings of people from different countries reading the alphabet of their own language. This approach makes it possible to hear a wide range of accents, intonations, and vocal timbres. The written word—visually uniform—becomes an entry point into a rich field of phonetic variation. Identical letters sound different depending on language, context, and accent.
